The school has a speech and language unit.  It offers children from North Hertfordshire with identified speech and language difficulties the benefit of intensive speech therapy in close liaison with their educational provision.

Aims

• To provide diagnosis, assessment of needs and appropriate provision of support on an individual basis.
• To systematically assess the pupil's special educational needs and match teaching to those individual needs.
• To promote positive and constructive attitudes to special educational needs.
• To offer appropriate support to enable pupils to access the National Curriculum.
