The children enjoyed making an autumnal decoration by threading leaves on to a string. They chose their leaves for their colour, size or texture. Then they listened to the twinkl story 'Don't Hog The Hedge' about a hibernating hedgehog who has to share her cosy nest with lots of other animals. The children then set about making shelters for animals in the woodland, big or small.
