Herts Mini Movers - free resource bank of physical activity ideas & tips for children aged 0-5

Funded by Hertfordshire County Council, and developed by renowned physical development consultant Helen Battelley, who delivered our free CPD courses, you will find practical tips and easy to implement ideas, to get those little ones moving more in early years educational settings.

The national and global recommendations of physical activity for children aged 2-5 years is 180 minutes (3 hours). 60 minutes of that time should be high active/intense physical activity (MVPA – Moderate to Vigorous Physical Activity).

Recent research indicates only 9% of UK children are reaching those levels.

Herts Mini Movers want to help improve that, so please visit the website for ideas on how to support children reach this daily recommended goal.
